Luxury wedding chef in Menorca

Country estates, stone farmhouses and seaside villas across the island, cooked for by one chef and a hand-picked team.

Wedding catering in Menorca

A wedding menu that tastes of Menorca

I cook weddings in Menorca at country estates, stone farmhouses and seaside villas across the island, from an intimate dinner to 500 guests. You get one chef responsible for every plate, a menu written for you and a team I brief and lead.

Menorca gives me Mahón-Menorca cheese aged on the island’s farms, sobrassada, spiny lobster for a caldereta in the style of Fornells, and gin from Mahón for a cold pomada before dinner. I cook the lobster and the day’s rockfish over a wood fire, and finish plates with wild fennel and sea herbs from the island’s quiet paths.

Guests gather in the late afternoon among the dry-stone walls and wild olive trees, and the ceremony lands in the soft evening light. Dinner follows at long tables under the stars, and I keep the kitchen close so each course arrives hot and calm.

A menu idea: Mahón cheese and sobrassada with the aperitif, fire-cooked lobster and island lamb, finished with local honey and almonds.

Season and logistics

The main wedding season in Menorca runs May to October. Equipment, hired staff and much of the produce reach Menorca by ferry or plane, so I order early and plan around sailing times. The tramuntana wind can blow hard on the north coast, so outdoor setups there need shelter. I work alongside your planner and venue so the kitchen fits into their timeline.

The wedding weekend

What I can cook for you

Canapés and aperitif

Cold and warm bites for the arrival, each one a clean single mouthful, made from local produce.

The wedding dinner

A plated tasting menu, a family-style feast, food stations, or a mix of all three.

Drinks programme

Wine and champagne pairings, a non-alcoholic pairing and a signature cocktail, designed with the menu.

Late-night food

Something warm and salty around midnight to keep the dance floor going.

Welcome and rehearsal dinners

A relaxed barbecue or fire-cooked feast to start the weekend, or an intimate tasting menu for family.

Day-after brunch

A late, generous brunch for everyone who stayed, and one last moment together.

My signature: live-fire wedding catering, a wild and foraged wedding menu, and intimate weddings and elopements.

Questions

Weddings in Menorca: good to know

When is wedding season in Menorca?

The main season runs May to October. Popular dates book early, so secure yours as soon as the venue is confirmed.

Can you work at a rural estate far from Mahón?

Yes. Many of the best wedding settings are on country estates, and I plan a field kitchen with power, water and cold storage in advance.

Can you cater a large wedding in Menorca?

Yes, up to 500 guests with a hired kitchen and service team that I brief and lead.

Do you cook the welcome dinner and brunch too?

Yes. The whole wedding weekend can be planned as one menu, from the welcome dinner to the day-after brunch.

How is the date secured?

A date is locked when a deposit of at least 60 percent is received.
