Restaurant-quality dining in your villa
A private chef for villas in Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Seminyak, Canggu and Sanur, and in the rice-field and jungle villas around Ubud. I cook Balinese flavours with fire and smoke, from family breakfasts to tasting dinners overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Balinese cooking starts with base genep, the island’s spice paste, and sambal matah of raw shallot, lemongrass and chilli. I cook babi guling and bebek betutu inspired dishes, sate lilit on lemongrass skewers, and fresh fish grilled over coconut husks the way Jimbaran does it. Local coconut, galangal, turmeric, kaffir lime and Amed sea salt give everything its fragrance.
I have spent a decade in Michelin-starred kitchens, as Sous Chef of R&D in the Noma group and Head Chef at Kokkeriet, and I bring that standard to every table I cook for. My story.

Private chef in Bali: good to know
Can you cook a Balinese feast as well as Western dishes?
Yes. I can cook a full Balinese meal, a modern tasting menu, or mix the two across your stay.
Will you cook for a group retreat in Ubud?
Yes. I cook every meal for retreats and long stays, with menus planned around your schedule and any dietary needs.
How far ahead should we book for Bali in the dry season?
July and August are the busiest months, so it is worth asking early. A date is locked when a deposit of at least 60 percent is received. Until then it is only a hold.
Getting married in Bali?
I cook weddings at cliff-top villas in Uluwatu, beachfront estates and jungle and rice-field villas around Ubud, from an intimate dinner to 500 guests. See wedding catering in Bali.
