Restaurant-quality dining in your chalet
A private chef for homes in Tromsø, on Kvaløya and in chalets along the Lyngenfjord below the Lyngen Alps. I cook Arctic dinners after a day of ski touring or a night chasing the northern lights, and every meal of your stay.
The Arctic pantry here is reindeer, Arctic char, skrei in winter and red king crab from the Barents Sea coast, with cloudberries and lingonberries from the tundra. I serve reindeer raw as a tartare, smoke char over birch and keep the cooking warm and generous for cold days.
I have spent a decade in Michelin-starred kitchens, as Sous Chef of R&D in the Noma group and Head Chef at Kokkeriet, and I bring that standard to every table I cook for. My story.

Private chef in Tromsø: good to know
Can you cook for a ski touring group in the Lyngen Alps?
Yes. I plan early breakfasts, packed lunches for the tour and a proper dinner when you come back down.
When is northern lights season in Tromsø?
The northern lights can usually be seen from about September to early April, when the nights are dark, and I time dinner around your evening out.
Do you also cook in the Lyngen chalets outside the city?
Yes. Travel and accommodation are added to the quote, and I plan menus and shopping before I arrive.
Getting married in Tromsø?
I cook weddings at chalets on the Lyngenfjord, homes on Kvaløya and private spaces with a view of the mountains, from an intimate dinner to 500 guests. See wedding catering in Tromsø.
